Fulton Speedway Set for Action-Packed Season Opener Featuring Demo Derbies

FULTON, NY (May 12th, 2026)— After an uncertain forecast with scattered showers all around the area cancelling opening night, the long wait for racing is over. Fulton Speedway is set to roar back to life on Saturday, May 16th with the RVMD Oswego, Fisk Electric and US Foods present King's Smash 'Em Crash 'Em Demo Derbies plus Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Stock Cars and E & V Energy Novice Sportsman.
After months of preparation in the shop and anticipation from fans across Central New York, opening night signals the return of weekly competition at Fulton Speedway. Headlining the program will be the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, joined by the always-competitive DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Stock Cars, and the up-and-coming E & V Energy Novice Sportsman divisions plus the King's Smash 'Em Crash 'Em Demo Derbies. Fans can expect a full night of high-speed excitement and crunching metal mayhem.
General admission for the night is $20 for adults and free entry for ages 18 and under. Pit passes are set at $35 for members and $40 for non-members.
Race day kicks off with pits opening at 4:00 PM, followed by grandstand gates at 5:00 PM. Hot laps hit the track at 5:30 PM, with the first green flag of the 2026 season scheduled for 6:30 PM.
With a long off-season now in the rearview mirror, all eyes turn to May 16th as Fulton Speedway fires back up—bringing with it the sights, sounds, and intensity that define Saturday night racing in Central New York.
