Fulton opener postponed to May 16
Fulton, NY (May 9, 2026) - Fulton Speedway officials have made the decision to cancel the racing program scheduled for Saturday, May 9. With rain scheduled to arrive at the Speedway during the racing program and travel costs at a premium for race teams, Speedway officials felt it best to push the 2026 opener out another week.
The season opener will now be Saturday, May 16 and will open with a bang as the King's Smash 'Em Crash 'Em Demo Derbies will headline a doubleheader night with a full racing program of Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, E & V Energy Novice Sportsman and Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Stock cars.
An earlier 6:30pm start time is slated for the season opener with tickets priced at $20 for adults and ages 18 & Younger free.
