$3000 purse posted for August 1 Power Seal/Tarvia Seal/ DnD Line Striping Modified Heat Race Challenge
BALDWINSVILLE, NY (April 30, 2026) – Entering his thirtieth year in the sealing business, Tom Juno, through his familiar Power Seal Asphalt Sealing Company, remains a steadfast supporter of racing at the Fulton and Brewerton Speedways. Juno once again has organized a lucrative event for Fulton Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified teams on Power Seal Night at Fulton Speedway, Saturday, August 1.
Joined again by fellow paving and sealing professional AJ Martino from Tarvia Seal, Juno has also enlisted support from DnD Line Striping to post a very lucrative purse for Tracey Road Modified regulars. This year’s event will feature a $3,000 purse for just 10 cars with a minimum of $1,000 slated for the winner.
Putting performance in heat races at a premium, the Power Seal/Tarvia Seal/DnD Striping Heat Race Challenge will feature a unique eligibility format. From opening day on May 9 through the July 25 program drivers will earn heat race points with five points going to a heat winner down to a single point for fifth. Points will be tallied throughout the season with the top eight drivers in combined points at the conclusion of the July 25 racing program punching their ticket into the Heat Race Challenge. A Facebook fan vote will happen in the days prior to the event to determine the ninth participant, with the tenth and final starter determined by Power Seal. Heat points will be tallied only for this unique event and will have no bearing on the track championship standings.
The PowerSeal/Tarvia Seal//DnD Line Striping Heat Race Challenge will be run in addition to a full program that evening.
“Tom Juno does so much for our sport and our tracks and racers,” said Cory Reed, Track Manager, “Every year he tries to mix it up, make it fun and rewarding for our teams. We are thankful Tom is part of our family and welcome the support of Tarvia Seal and DnD Line Striping.
Power Seal/Tarvia Seal/DnD Line Striping Heat Race Challenge Format:
A “revenge draw” format will set the line-up with each driver drawing then giving their number to one of the other nine competitors, even if it’s number one.
Once the line-up is determined, the field will race as one until the completion of lap five at which time the last place car across the line is sent off track. Each subsequent lap the last place car will be sent pit side until just four cars remain on the track. At that time a caution will be thrown with the leader at the time choosing an invert pill to determine the lineup for a five-lap dash for the checkered and lucrative $1000 first place prize.
