Baldwinsville, NY (March 2, 2026) – Just two months remain until the 2026 racing season kicks off at Fulton Speedway, with a May 9th Season Opener scheduled. DIRTcar's fast-growing 358-Modified division will again be the anchor of Fulton's Hoosier Tire Weekly Racing Series with sponsorship remaining from long-time partner, Tracey Road Equipment. DIRTcar Sportsman, Stock Cars and Novice Sportsman will remain as weekly staples.
The DIRTcar Modified class sponsor the past fifteen years, Tracey Road, continues their support of Fulton’s headline class in 2026. A full season of DIRTcar 358-Modified point paying races will anchor the schedule culminating with the annual 40th Annual Outlaw 200 on Saturday, October 3.
Watertown's Billy Dunn captured the 2025 track Championship in his second season as a Fulton Speedway regular. Look for Dunn to be back to defend his championship in 2026, but a large field of challengers will be looking to dethrone him.
DOT Foods, located at 200 Monarch Drive in Liverpool, NY, will return as the title sponsor for the DIRTcar Sportsman class, which will again play a huge part in Fulton's Weekly show.
Coming off a fantastic season that saw him win the 2025 track title, Emmett Waldron, will be a modified rookie in 2026 opening the door for a new track champion. A strong field of Dot Foods Sportsman will again be pit side weekly. The DIRTcar Sportsman Series will make a stop on Saturday, July 25.
Long-time track supporter, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux, returns as the title sponsor of the Hobby Stock Class, now rebranded to "Billy Whittaker Cars and Trux Stock Cars". While maintaining the technical essence of Hobby Stocks, the new brand elevates the class and more closely aligns it with national classes by the same name. The class has shown a steady climb in participants since it returned to the track in 2022 and more are expected to make their way pit side in 2026.
E & V Energy has been the title sponsor of Fulton’s Novice Sportsman class since its inception in 2009. The class has successfully provided an on ramp into dirt racing for racers of all types, from aspiring youths to bucket-list adults and will continue that in 2026.
Several special events dot the 2026 schedule. The Empire Super Sprints will visit the Speedway on four occasions with visits on Memorial Day Weekend, July 4th as part of the Speedway's special America 250 Celebration, Labor Day Weekend and again on Friday of Outlaw 200 Weekend. The fifth winged show of the season will be Saturday, June 27 when the CRSA 305 Sprints join the action.
STARS Mod Lites will make three visits to the speedway in 2026 - July 11, August 15 as part of the OneGroup Beast of the East Showdown and Thursday, October 1 at the annual Outlaw 200 Weekend.
Stops by the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour on June 27 and the Mohawk Valley Vintage Dirt Modified Series on August 29 will bring cars of yesteryear to the speedway again.
Fulton's traditional smash and crash shows will return and grow by one in 2026. King's Smash 'Em Crash ' Em Demolition Derbies (May 16) will be the first four nights of motorized mayhem throughout the summer, followed by the Rocket Tow Chain Race (June 13), Chris Nichols Snap-On Boat Race (July 25) and the return of the Trailer Race of Destruction (August 22).
Fulton Speedway will see its first activity for the season on Saturday, May 2 with open practice beginning at 2pm. The working 2026 schedule can be found on www.fultonspeedway.com. Fans will be able to get a hard copy at the Syracuse Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds on March 14 and 15.
