CRSA Releases Tentative 2026 Schedule

Press Release By: Marty Czekala – January 16, 2026 - Photo By: Erika Bye

When May begins, the A-Verdi Storage Containers CRSA Sprints are set to roll.

Mike Emhof Motorsports and CRSA have released their tentative 2026 schedule, with a record 26 dates scheduled across the Northeast. The series will visit 13 tracks across three states, including two new tracks for the CRSA family.

All four miniseries (DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge, I-90 Pit Stop Challenge, Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series and Dandy Mini Series) are returning for the 21st season.

Tyler Siri’s Outlaw Speedway will continue to be a staple on the season with at least three events, as one of the richest tracks of the 2026 calendar. Like last year, it will kick off the season, this time a couple of weeks later, May 8 and conclude the season Oct. 16-17 for the Hoag Memorial $4000-to-win event. The series will also contest races July 31 in a $2,011-to-win show alongside the Empire Super Sprints. All races at Outlaw, except the Hoag Memorial, will be part of the Dandy Mini Series. Last year saw Jeff Trombley become the all-time winner in CRSA history, with Dandy Mini Series champion Jordan Hutton and Southern Tier Series champion Dillon Paddock also winning.

Paul Cole’s Land of Legends Raceway will lead in series races with four on the CRSA calendar, set for May 9, June 6, July 2 and Sept. 18 on Gerald Haers Memorial Weekend. All races are part of the DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge, in which CRSA continues to battle against the 305 Sprint track regulars. Trombley, track champion Bobby Parrow and defending series champion plus Rookie of the Year Zach Sobotka won last year at the track where legends are made. Land of Legends continues to be the only CRSA-sanctioned weekly 305 Sprint track where some of CRSA’s and the best 305 drivers in the region can be seen.

Al Heinke and Jimmy Phelps’ Weedsport Speedway will return to one date in 2026, set for its traditional Memorial Day weekend date, May 24, a weekend that continues to break the record for CRSA car counts. This will kick off the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge. Parrow and Paddock each scored A-Main victories last season

The following weekend, after rained out last year, Brett Deyo’s Fonda Speedway returns and is set for May 30, also an I-90 race.

The series kicks off June at Parm Atwal and Tana Robinson’s Ransomville Speedway, which returns after a pair of successful CRSA shows, with its lone race set for June 5, adding on to the DisBatch Challenge. Paddock was able to sweep both races at “The Big R” last season.

The first new track on the CRSA calendar is Doug Rose’s Bridgeport Motorsports Park. The Kingdom of Speed in New Jersey will host a pair of doubleheaders June 12-13 and Labor Day Weekend Sept. 4-5 as part of the 305 Sprint Car Nationals. These weekends will be non-point challenges in conjunction with the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series.

Jason Broedel’s Utica-Rome Speedway is set for an expansion to the CRSA schedule, as “The Home of Heroes” will host three CRSA races in 2026, June 14, July 24 and Aug. 14, all I-90 Pit Stop races. Sobotka scored his first victory in Vernon last season.

John and Laura Wight’s Fulton Speedway returns June 20 after a successful inaugural trip to the high banks last season, also a part of the I-90 Pit Stop Challenge. Sobotka took the checkers last year on a late race restart over Parrow.

After losing both races to weather last year, Penn Can Speedway, now under Nathan Aldrich, will return to the schedule July 17 and Sept. 12 as part of King of the Can weekend. They will kick off the Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series.

Terry and Nikki Brewer’s Woodhull Raceway will host a race July 25 as part of the Dandy Mini Series. Paddock, Sobotka, Spencer Burley, Scott Landers and Billy VanInwegen all took wins there last year.

The second new track of the schedule will be a visit to Tyler Bartlett’s Can-Am Speedway Aug. 7. The half mile track in La Fargeville hosts a weekly division for crate sprint cars Friday nights. This event will be a 305/Crate Challenge event.

Karl and Sara Spoonhower’s Thunder Mountain Speedway will host a pair of races, Aug. 15 and Sept. 6 as a part of the Joe’s Garage Southern Tier Series. Last season, the Smith brothers, Johnny and Mikey, each scored their first career CRSA victory in the two races in Center Lisle. There are talks of a third date in the works.

Finally, after not running last year, The Dirt Track at Genesee, now under James and Nicole Gayton, will welcome back CRSA and conclude the DisBatch Brewing Company Challenge Sept. 19.

Traditional festivities will begin and end 2026 March 14-15 with the Motorsports Expo at the New York State Fairgrounds and Dec. 5 with the Awards Banquet at Vernon Downs.
