Marshall Hurd Outruns Fulton Speedway Modified Field

FULTON, NY (August 23, 2025) – Marshall Hurd has been knocking on victory lane door all season at the Fulton Speedway with consistent finishes and third place in the point standings. Saturday night Hurd did not knock on the door; he kicked wide open winning the 35-Lap Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified feature.

Other winners on McDonald’s Restaurant of Fulton, RL Cleaning, Gypsum Companies night. Hunter Hollenbeck (DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman) Bodie Marks (E & V Energy Novice Sportsman) John Pietrowicz (Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks). Chris Bonoffski (RL Cleaning $1500-to-win Four Cylinder Summer Showdown).

Jordan Bennett and Cameron Black brought the 35-Lap Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified field to the green with Bennett grabbing the early lead.

A quick caution on lap 3 slowed the pace. Bennett, Black, Marshall Hurd, Jason Amidon, and Amy Holland were the top five on the restart.

After the restart Hurd drove into second on lap 5 and the race lead on lap seven.

Hurd would open a one second lead on lap 10 while Bennett, Holland, Matt Caprara, and Sean Beardsley raced for top five positions.

Hurd would lengthen his lead at the halfway point. Caprara, Holland, Bennett, Beardsley, and Tim Sears Jr. from 13th were still battling up front.

With 10 laps to go Hurd was still on rails out front. Caprara started to cut into Hurd’s lead with Holland, Bennett, and Sears were still showing on the scoring tower.

Over the final laps and no yellows to slow the pace Marshall Hurd cruised to victory lane. Amy Holland, Matt Caprara, Tim Sears Jr., and Jordan Bennett completed the top five.

Brett Sears would lead the opening lap of the 25-Lap DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman feature when the red came out for a multiple car incident. All drivers were okay. When the race went back to green Joe Kline was scored the new leader.

Lap 4 would see a quick yellow with Cody Manitta taking the lead and Hunter Hollenbeck moved into second. Hollenbeck would drive into the lead on lap six.

By lap 10 Hollenbeck was on cruise control out front. Manitta, Emmett Waldron, Clayton Brewer III, and Jason Parkhurst Jr. raced for top five spots.

Hollenbeck was on rails out front with 10 laps to go. Manitta, and Waldron were in a tight fight for second and third with Sears, and Parkhurst still in the top five.

The remaining laps with no yellows allowed Hunter Hollenback to race to victory lane. Cody Manitta, Emmett Waldron, Jason Parkhurst Jr., and Clayton Brewer III completed the top five.

Brayden Bullock would lead the opening lap of the 15-Lap E & V Energy Novice Sportsman feature when Bodie Marks would take over the top spot on lap later.

Once out-front Marks would drive away from the field to victory lane. Brayden Bullock, Parker Fowler, Kollin Vannorstrand, and Tim Halsey finished second through fifth.

Adam Hunt led the opening lap of the 15-Lap Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stock feature with Ron Hawker taking the lead one lap later.

Hawker would be in a tight fight for the lead on lap 5 with Adam Hunt, Aiden Galvin, John Pietrowicz, and Andy Kieffer were the top five just before a yellow would slow the race pace.

On lap 8 Pietrowicz took over second and then drove into the lead on lap ten.

Over the final laps John Pietrowicz outran Dominic Albanese for the win. Ron Hawker, Adam Hunt, and Aidan Galvin completed the top five.

Brian Klantz would be the early leader in the R L Cleaning $1,500-to-win Four Cylinder Open with Kyle Simmons taking the lead on lap five.

Lap 10 Simmions was still out front with Nate Powers moving into second With CJ LaVair, Jack Taskey, and Brad Whiteside battled for position.

A caution on lap 15 erased Simmons lead setting up a dash to the checkers.

Chris Bonoffski raced into the lead on lap 18 just before a yellow. When the race went back to green Bonoffski drove away for the win. Corey Valade, Tim Dunn, Brad Whiteside, and Don Whiteside finished second through fifth.

Marshall Hurd won the entertaining $500-to-win Tow Truck Brian’s Modified Brides Maid Dash. Andrew Buff, Chris Mackey, Jordan Bennett, Pat Ward, and Robert Gage finished second through sixth.

Saturday, August 30 - STOP-DWI New York, J. Gordon Contracting and Dot Foods present the ESS Sprint Car Series Labor Day Weekend invasion, championship night for Tracey Road DIRTcar Mods, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman and Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks plus E & V Energy Novice Sportsman. Also, Kid's Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.
