Matt Caprara Cruises to Fulton Speedway Modified Win

5:30 pm Early Start Time July 25 H2No Boat Race Night

By Dave Medler

FULTON, NY (July 12, 2025) – Matt Caprara came into Saturday night with one thing on his mind, a trip to victory lane. He did just that on the Fulton Speedway ‘Highbanks’ winning his second career Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified feature.

Caprara started the 35-Lap Modified in the eighth and quickly moved his way to the front. Once Caprara moved into second on lap 11 he started reeling in race leader Sean Beardsley. On lap 13 Caprara used a slider going into turn one taking the lead. Once out front nobody challenged him the rest of the way.

Other winners on Regional Truck & Trailer and B & R Gage Development night. Emmett Waldron (DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman) Jacob Gurecki (E & V Energy Novice Sportsman) John Pietrowicz (Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks) Joe August (Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour).

Sean Beardsley and Wade Chrisman brought the 35-Lap Modified feature to the green with Beardsley setting the early pace.

On lap 10 Beardsley was still out front over Max Hill, Matt Caprara, Chis Mackey, and Wade Chrisman.

Caprara would move into second on lap 11 and set his sights on Beardsley making the pass for the on lap 13 using a slider going into turn one.

At the halfway point Caprara was driving away from the field leaving Beardsley, Hill, Mackey, and Chrisman to race for second through fifth.

Caprara built a full straightaway lead with 10 laps remaining. Beardsley, Hill, Mackey, and Chrisman still showed on the scoring tower.

With no caution the rest of the way to bunch the field up let Matt Caprara cruise to the win. Sean Beardsley, Max Hill, Chris Mackey, and Ryan Dolbear completed the top five.

Sam Groom took the early lead in the 25-Lap Sportsman feature before a yellow on the second lap. On the restart Brain Haeber drove into the spot.

The yellow would wave on lap 10. Top five on the restart. Harber, Josh Livingston, Jason Parkhurst Jr., Mike Fowler, and Hunter Hollenback.

On lap 11Livingston would be scored the new leader by a nose at the line.

A caution on lap 14 and restart would see Waldon bolt into lead.

On lap 23 the caution would wave setting up a dash to the checkers.

When the race went back to green, Jason Parkhurst tried a Hail Mary slide job but could not clear and that allowed Emmett Waldon to drive away for the win. Jason Parkhurst Jr., Josh Livingston, Hunter Hollenbeck, and Teddy Clayton completed the top five.

Jacob Gurecki led every lap of the 15-Lap Novice feature on his way to victory lane. Brayden Bullock, Bodie Marks, Parker Fowler, and Belle Hogan finished second through fifth.

John Pietrowicz dominated the 15-Lap Hobby Stock feature. Ron Hawker, Aiden Galvin, Brandon Barron, and Adam Hunt completed the top five.
In an exciting Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour feature saw a local racer Joe August picking up the win. Jipp Ortiz, John Hill, Steve Longo, and Scott Nash finished second through fifth.
