Inside Line Promotions – MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (Oct. 2, 2018) – Kraig Kinser is 4-for-4 in earning top-10 results at Fulton Speedway entering a World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series show at the oval in Fulton, N.Y., this Saturday.

Kinser recorded an eighth-place result during his debut in 2005 before netting a career-best fourth-place finish in 2010. He added an eighth-place run in 2014 and was seventh last year.

“It’s a unique shaped track,” he said. “I’ve ran good there before. After a dismal weekend it’s good to get back to a track we’ve had success at. I’m looking forward to getting back on the right track.”

Kinser competed during the Champion Racing Oil National Open last weekend at Williams Grove Speedway, where approximately 50 drivers tackled the marquee World of Outlaws spectacle.

“It was a tough weekend for us,” he said. “We got behind in qualifying and couldn’t dig ourselves out of any holes. The Saturday show we were getting better though so that was a positive.”

Kinser qualified 20th quickest in his group, placed eighth in a heat race and ended sixth in the C Main on Friday, but he improved all of his results on Saturday. He timed in 13th quickest in his group, advanced from fifth to fourth place in a heat race to miss locking into the main event by only one position. Kinser then finished eighth in the Last Chance Showdown before using a provisional to start near the rear of the field in the 40-lap main event. He gained a trio of positions to finish 24th.

“We definitely were getting better,” he said. “We needed to start the weekend where we ended. We had a balance issue. The track was quick both nights with the weather they had. It was about getting set up better for that type of track. We didn’t get the handle on it until too late.”

QUICK RESULTS –

Sept. 28 – Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa. – Qualifying: 20; Heat race: 8 (7); C Main: 6 (10).
