Billy Dunn Makes Late Race Pass Enroute to Fulton Speedway Modified Win

FULTON, NY (June 14, 2025) – Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway Billy Dunn would take advantage of a caution on lap thirty-one and restart to win the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modified feature.

Other winners on Empire Power Sports & RFH’s Hideaway night. Brett Sears (DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman) John Pietrowicz (Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks) Andrew Eaton (E & V Energy Novice Sportsman). Alan Fink/Russ Marsden ($1000 Crazy Chain Race).

Robert Gage and Ron Davis III paced the 35-Lap Modified feature to the green with Davis getting the early advantage.

Davis opened a sizable lead on lap five with Gage, Jordan Bennett, Max Hill, and Pat Ward were in a close battle in the top five.

A yellow on lap nine erased the 3.8 seconds lead Davis had. The restart would see Davis, Gage, Bennett, Hill, and Billy Dunn who started twelfth.

On lap fifteen Davis still led with Gage, Dunn, Ward, and Hill raced for second through fifth.

Lap twenty Dunn moved into second looking to cut into Davis 2.3 second lead.

Ten laps to go Davis still held a sizable lead with Dunn, Ward, Gage, and Marshall Hurd who started tenth showed in top five.

A yellow on lap thirty-one set up a dash to the checkers when Billy Dunn would drive by Davis on the restart and the win. Pat Ward, Ron Davis III, Marshall Hurd, and Lance Willix completed the top five.

Joe Kline would lead the opening lap in the 25-Lap Sportsman feature with Clayton Brewer III taking lead one lap four when a yellow would slow the pace.

A caution on lap nine and restart had Brewer still leading with Cody Manitta, Brett Sears, Emmett Waldron, and Jason Parkhurst the top five.

Brewer still held the with ten laps go with Sears, Kyle Perry, Waldron, and Manitta still in contention.

Brett Sears would drive by Brewer on lap sixteen and from there would be the first under the checkers. Kyle Perry, Clayton Brewer III, Emmett Waldron, and Cody Manitta would finish second through fifth.

The 15 Lap Hobby Stock feature saw Aidan Galvin, Adam Hunt, and Brennan Fitzgibbons all lead laps. John Pietrowicz would take the lead on lap nine and from there never looked back for his third straight win. Fitzgibbons, Ron Hawker, Adam Hunt, and Andy Kieffer completed the top five.

The 15 Lap Novice Sportsman would see last week’s feature winner Belle Hogan lead the opening fourteen laps when Andrew Eaton made the winning pass on the last lap. Hogan, Jacob Gurecki, Parker Fowler, Phil Loosen finished second through fifth.

The fan favorite Crazy Chain Race would see Alan Fink/Russ Marsden take the $1000 win. 2nd. Shawn ‘Cooter’ Krause/ Bob ‘Duke’ Goodrich. 3rd. William Gilfus/Keith Wicks. Best Appearing went to Zak Petrie/Justin Guyle.

Saturday, June 21 Syracuse Haulers & Compass Credit Union present a night of fast and affordable, fun racing.

The night's racing action will feature the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, E & V Energy Novice Sportsman, and Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks, plus the first appearance for the CRSA Sprints.
