Technical Bulletin From Fulton Speedway July 21 Jackson Gill Sportsman Feature Win

Technical Bulletin

Dated:           July 25, 2018

Re:                Sportsman Tech Report from 7/21/18

During post-race inspection of Jackson Gill’s #60 DIRTcar Sportsman after the first SUNY Canton Sportsman Feature event on Saturday, July 21, inspectors questioned the legality of a metal shield that was clipped to the end of the tailpipe on each side. Track officials held Mr. Gill’s purse and points pending further investigation of the part in question.

After discussion with DIRTcar Officials, it has been determined, that this shield is in place for protection of the shock absorber and does not violate DIRTcar Sportsman exhaust rules as currently established in the 2018 DIRTcar Rulebook. Thus, Mr. Gill has been awarded all point and money for the event. Should DIRTcar decide to adjust or alter their rules for such parts moving forward, Fulton Speedway will adjust their enforcement accordingly.

For further information, contact Cory Reed at the tracks at (315) 374-1168 or cory@fultonspeedway.com.
