Brewerton And Fulton Speedways Season Openers Closing in Fast

BALDWINSVILLE, NY - (March 13, 2022) - After a fun and successful Motorsports Expo all eyes now turn to the highly anticipated season openers?at the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways.?

Fans are ready while race teams are putting finishing touches on their cars to unleash the horsepower and speed on the 2023 racing season.

The Fulton Speedway will swing the gates open in a big way with the Highbank Holdup Weekend on Friday and Saturday, April 28-29.

On Friday, the methanol breathing, winged warriors of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints will take center stage. Joining ESS will be the season points opener for the AmeriCU Credit Union Mod Lites, and the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks. The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour will be in action, plus hot laps for Modifieds and Sportsman in preparation for their Saturday racing.

Saturday the DIRTcar 358 Modified Series will invade the speedway for the Highbank Holdup 60, plus the popular DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman.

Fulton Speedway Tracey Road Modified regulars looking to keep the ‘Highbank Holdup’ gold at home will be led by Defending Track Champion Tim Sears Jr. and Defending DIRTcar 358 Modified Series Champion Dave Marcuccilli.

Andrew Buff will be back to defend his DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman Track Championship in the season points opener. The stout Sportsman field will also be running for a qualifying spot in the prestigious Industrial Tire of CNY Sportsman Shootout during the Milton Cat Outlaw 200 Weekend on September 29-30. Also, on Saturday will be the $500-to-win Mirabito Four Cylinder Open.

On Friday, May 5 Stirling Lubricants will present the Brewerton Speedway 2023 grand opener with points starting in all divisions.

Doing battle on the ‘D-Shaped Dirt Demon’ will be the Tracey Road DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DOT Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, AmeriCU Credit Union Mod Lites, and the Mirabito Four Cylinders.

The DIRTcar 358 Modified feature bonus returns for the top three finishing cars. First - $300. Second - $200. Third - $100.

Defending Track Champions. Chris Hile (Modifieds) Amy Holland (Sportsman) Mike Mullen (Mod Lites) Chris Bonoffski (Four Cylinders). The chase for the Sportsman championship is wide open with Amy Holland moving up to the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds.

Pits will open at 4:00 pm. Grandstands 5:30 pm. Hot Laps 6:10 pm. Racing 7:00 pm.
