Race Procedural Rules

Specific procedural rules for the Fulton Speedway

  • Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway officials will follow procedural rules as described in the DIRTcar Rule Book, Pages 56-61 unless noted as below.
  • Should a driver draw a yellow during a heat or consolation, the race will resume as soon as the track is cleared.
  • Exception is to this is the Modified feature. A car going pit-side at Brewerton Speedway will be provided three laps, one time, for the weekly feature race. At Fulton Speedway, a car going pit-side will be provided two laps, one time, for the weekly feature race. Race will resume as soon as possible in last five laps, with no courtesy laps at all. Cars down a lap or laps will not be provided any courtesy laps at any time.
  • If there is a yellow prior to halfway, a double file restart will be held. If there are consecutive yellows before a lap is completed, and prior to halfway, cars will be directed to go single file. After going back to green flag conditions, a double file restart would be attempted once again, before the halfway stage.
  • After halfway in all features, a single file restart will be held with the lapped cars to the inside and holding position.
  • For weekly features, cars down a lap or laps will be directed to the rear of the field if there is a restart during the final 5 laps.
  • Drivers are responsible to have an operable one way radio (Frequency is 454.000). Should a driver not go where directed, after being informed by the one way radio a total of two times, they will be placed at the rear of the field for delaying the restart of the race.
  • Should a car flip, a red flag will be displayed and the Ambulance Crew will be directed to the car. All cars will be stopped at a designated spot as informed on the one way radio. This will likely be at the middle of the backstretch.
