2010 Novice Sportsman Competitor Notice
The following guidelines will be in effect for the 2010 season.
- The purse will be as follows, 1st-$80, 2nd-$70, 3rd-$60, 4th-$50, 5th-$40.
- Sportsman cars will only be allowed to race in both the DIRTcar Sportsman and Novice Sportsman division a total of three times per season, starting with the season opener.
- Cars running in two divisions on the same night will not receive points or payoff in the Novice division.
- Once a driver wins three feature races in a season, they will no longer be able to compete in the Novice Sportsman class.
*****The rules are set to provide the Novice Sportsman competitors a level playing field and some opportunity to try the division out before investing in a car of their own. Rules subject to change in order to keep class competitive.
