37th annual Milton CAT Outlaw 200 returns to small block roots September 30

The prestigious Milton CAT Outlaw 200 is fast approaching - to be held September 30, 2023. The 37th edition of this prestigious event will see a return to its roots as one of the highest paying small block modified events of the year.
DIRTcar legal 358-Modified engines will be the required powerplant for all cars in Modifed competition when the cars hit the track in just two and a half weeks. The result of a healthy resurgence of DIRTcar spec 358-Modified engines in Northeast modified racing, look for a typical strong field of Modifieds to venture to the Oswego County oval.
Fulton Speedway had 52 different 358-Modified competitors compete in at least one point event in 2023. On Wednesday, June 21, 58 drivers entered the rescheduled Highbank Holdup DIRTcar 358-Modified series event. While not a DIRTcar 358-Modified series event, speedway management will use those rules as a model for the Milton CAT Outlaw 200.
“We have witnessed a rapid rebirth of the spec small block program both at Fulton and across the northeast modified landscape,” said track GM Cory Reed, “This event grew to what it is today by being the biggest small block modified event in the Northeast so it made sense to take the event back to its original intent.”

Before Milton CAT Outlaw Weekend gets formally underway, the Speedway will host a Test and Tune for all competing classes on Tuesday, September 19. Pit gates will open at 5pm with cars on track at 6pm. Following several rounds of practice, Mechanic’s races that were rained out on August 12 will be on track, as well as a special $500 winner take all Modified dash being put on by track tow truck operator, Brian Vivenzio.
