SUNY Canton Returns To Sponsor The 25th Annual Fulton 200

FULTON, NY…For the second straight season SUNY Canton will present the season ending classic at Fulton Speedway. Saturday, October 2 is the date of the 25th Annual Fulton 200 presented by SUNY Canton. Billy Decker is the defending and two-time champion of the $20,000 plus to win Fulton 200. Veteran Billy Pauch continues to lead the Fulton 200 win list with six triumphs with Alan Johnson following with four victories. Tim Fuller and Danny Johnson are both three time winners.

“It is great to have SUNY Canton back on board to present the 25th Annual Fulton 200 after all of their contributions to the track last season,” commented Fulton Speedway Promoter Harvey Fink. Not only did SUNY Canton present the Fulton 200 in 2009, they also provided 20 state of the art picnic tables for the Fulton Speedway midway, as well as sponsoring numerous laps for the Fulton 200. Fink concluded, “The support of the fine folks from SUNY Canton is certainly appreciated.”

Last years Fulton 200 presented by SUNY Canton was the re-birth of a tradition. Fulton Speedway officials will continue to fine tune the event to benefit fans and competitors alike. More announcements, promotions, qualifying events and rules will follow on the 25th Annual Fulton 200 presented by SUNY Canton. The event carries the highest total one-day purse in the nation for dirt track Modified competitors.

Fulton Speedway will open for the 2010 season on Saturday, April 10 with the Big Block Modified Super DIRTcar Series Spring Fever 100. The Central New York opener will pay $6,000 to win. Also in competition will be the DIRTcar Sportsman, FASTRAK Late Models, Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators. A Test and Tune Practice session for all divisions will be held on Saturday, April 3 starting at 12 noon.
