BREWERTON AND FULTON SPEEDWAY’S 2009 AWARDS / 2010 BLAST OFF PARTY SET FOR APRIL 3RD AT THE OASIS
BREWERTON, NY…The 2009 Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway Awards / 2010 Blast-Off Party will be held on Saturday, April 3 at the Oasis in Fulton, N.Y. The event will serve to honor the top drivers from the 2009 season at both Brewerton Speedway and Fulton Speedway’s. The focus will then shift to the 2010 season at both John and Laura Wight owned tracks, with two very action packed season schedules on the horizon.
At Brewerton Speedway the top ten drivers in the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, IMCA Modifieds, ESDCA Mod Lites and Four Cylinder Super Stocks will be honored. The top three from the Gladiator division will also be recognized. At Fulton Speedway the top ten drivers from the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman and Street Stock classes will be honored. The top five in the Novice Sportsman class and top three from the Gladiator ranks will also be cited.
Tickets for the 2009 Awards / 2010 Blast-Off Party are priced at $15 each. The event will start with at 6 p.m. with Food Stations and a Cash Bar. The Awards presentations and the Blast-Off to the 2010 season will follow. Tickets will go on sale starting March 1. The event is open to all members of the Brewerton Speedway / Fulton Speedway family. Drivers, crew members, track officials and fans are all expected. All competitors that will be honored will be notified by mail.
The Oasis is located on Wilcox Road across the river from the Fulton Speedway at the Thunder Island Recreation complex.
