FULTON SPEEDWAY OPENERS POSTPONED FOR ONE WEEK DUE TO POOR TRACK CONDITIONS - RACING HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR MARCH 26TH.

FULTON, NY - The Fulton Speedway is sorry to announce that the scheduled race for Saturday, April 19th has been postponed for one week due to poor track conditions. The Big Block Modifieds were scheduled to take to the track next Saturday but with track conditions not being suited for action Speedway management decided to postpone the event for one week in order to get the track ready for the busy 2008 racing season. The main concern now is to providing a good, safe track surface for all the drivers involved.

Although a cold May contributed to the snow hanging around a little longer then expected which intern hampered workers from getting the track ready for Saturday's opener. All of the snow has melted from the speedway surface, pits, and parking lots. Management realizes that over the next several weeks the weather conditions will be greatly improving and warming up.

Management states that work continues on a daily basis at the track in full preparations for the upcoming DIRTcar racing season. Speedway Management would also like to thank everyone for their continued excitement and enthusiasm in preparation for the 2008 racing season.
