RAIN SHOWERS CANCEL FULTON SPEEDWAY RACING ON SATURDAY


FULTON, NY – Heavy rain showers that moved into the Central New York area late Saturday afternoon and the forecast of more rain throughout the evening forced the cancellation of the stock car races at Fulton Speedway. The cancellation, which occurred an hour after the gates opened, was the first at the track since April 28. A tremendous field of cars was set to compete at the high banks on Novelis / Ferris Industries Night.

 

Coming up this Saturday night July 21st at Fulton Speedway is Dunkin Donuts Night featuring $5 Admission. Featured will be the DIRT Sportsman division in a $650 to win, 40-lap affair, plus the UMP Pro Stocks, IMCA Modifieds, Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman, and 4-Cylinder Enduros. Race time is set for 7pm.

 

On July 28th, Fulton Speedway will feature the DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, ESDCA Mod Lites, UMP Pro Stocks, Gypsum Express Crate Sportsman, and 4-Cylinder Enduros. The UMP Street Stock division will have the night off to support the Canandaigua Speedway with their Mr. DIRTcar Street Stock Super Series event.
