FORBES,
HUMPHREY AND HERBERT WIN VICTORIA CHAMPIONSHIP RACES
FULTON, NY...Darren Forbes, Harold Humphrey
and Jerry Herbert were the Victoria Championship race winners last
Saturday at Fulton Speedway. Shane Donath, Bob Buono and Jay
McGillicuddy all earned a guaranteed starting position for their
respective Victoria Championship races coming up on Friday, September 30
as part of the 20th Annual Victoria 200 Weekend which will conclude on
Saturday, October 1 with the running of the $20,000 plus to win Dynomax
Victoria 200.
Darren Forbes earned the victory in the
Mod Lite 36-lap Doug Cooper Memorial Victoria Championship race. Tim
Devendorf, Dan Williams, Kevin Donhauser and Frank Doll Jr. followed
Forbes across the finish line. in the event which started 32 cars.
Harold Humphrey was the winner of the
20-lap Four Cylinder Super Stock Victoria Championship race last
Saturday night. Jay Johnston, Jim Money, Mitch Hurlburt and Lenny Miller
finished in positions second through fifth respectively behind Humphrey.
Jerry Herbert claimed the victory in
the 50-lap Four Cylinder Enduro Victoria Championship race last Saturday
night. Skip DeGroff, Chad Guthrie, Troy Engerbretsen and Dan Slosek
completed the top five feature finishers in the non-stop event.
Shane Donath earned the DIRT Sportsman
20-lap race win last Saturday night after Jim Bowman was disqualified in
post race inspection. Donath will now be a guaranteed starter for the
2006 Motorsports Expo Victoria Championship race this Friday night. Mark
Yorker, Joey Williams, Jeremy Pitcher and Kenny Stafford completed the
top five feature finishers.
Bob Buono claimed his second straight
DIRT Pro Stock feature race win last Saturday night and will now be a
guaranteed starter for the Leaf Racewear Victoria Championship race this
Friday night. Ray Maloney, Billy Clark, Jack Terrell and Bret Belden
finished in positions second through fifth respectively.
Jay McGillicuddy won his first ever
Pure Stock feature race last Saturday night which was good for a
guaranteed starting position this Friday in the Top Stitch Custom
Embroidery Victoria Championship event. Phil Marsden, Chad Crouse, Dan
Hofmann Sr. and Todd Raabe completed the top five feature finishers.
The 20th Annual Victoria 200 Weekend at
Fulton Speedway will start on Friday, September 30 with Victoria
Championship races for the Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks.
Several hot lap sessions for the Modifieds will also be held. Race time
is 7 p.m.
Saturday, October 1 is the complete
one-day show for the $20,000 plus to win Dynomax Victoria 200 for dirt
type Modifieds. The first heat race will start at 4:30 p.m. and they
will be followed by the consolations and the Fernandez Auto Mall All
Star Race. The Victoria 200 will start at approximately 7:30 p.m.
