EARLY
EVENING RAIN FORCES CANCELLATION AT FULTON SPEEDWAY
FULTON, NY...For a while last Saturday at
Fulton Speedway it appeared that the track would sneak another race
program by Mother Nature. But in the end Mother Nature won out as early
evening rains forced the show to be called off. Professional DIRT
Motorsports competition will continue this Saturday, July 23 at Fulton
Speedway. And on Monday, July 25, perhaps the biggest show in the
history of Fulton Speedway will be contested when the stars of the World
of Outlaws Sprint Car Series make their first ever appearance at the
track.
The DIRT Big Block Modifieds, DIRT
Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks and the Mod Lites will all be in
competition this Saturday, July 23 at Fulton Speedway. Track gates will
open at 5 p.m. with race competition set to start at 7 p.m. Adult
admission will be $12, ages 10-14 priced at only $5 and all those nine
years of age and under will be admitted free of charge.
Monday, July 25 is the date of the
first ever visit by the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and its' Mean
15 led by Steve Kinser and Danny Lasoski to Fulton Speedway. The winner
of the World of Outlaws special will claim $10,000. A $1,000 to win
special for the DIRT Pro Stocks will also be contested. Advance sale
tickets are still available for the highly anticipated special.
