DECKER
HOLDS OFF FULLER FOR DIRT MODIFIED FEATURE WIN ON TERRELL'S POTATO CHIPS
NIGHT
FULTON, NY...Billy Decker held off Tim
Fuller to earn the victory in the 35-lap DIRT Big Block Modified feature
race at Fulton Speedway last Saturday on Terrell's Potato Chips Night.
It was Decker's second win of the season at the Home of the Dynomax
Victoria 200. The victory for the Gypsum Wholesalers DIRT Modified team
was worth $2,000.
Tony Buffa raced out to the early lead
at the start of the Terrell's Potato Chips DIRT Big Block Modified
feature from the pole starting position. With five laps complete Buffa
continued to lead and was being chased in the top five by Chad Phelps,
Donnie Wetmore Jr., Scott Prentice and John Barker. Buffa would lead the
25-car starting field for the first nine circuits.
DIRT Big Block Modified rookie Chad
Phelps took the top spot away from Buffa on lap-10. Phelps looked strong
in leading the pack and at the halfway mark was being followed in the
top five by Tim Fuller, Decker, Jimmy Phelps and Barker. Racing in
positions sixth through tenth respectively at the halfway stage were
Prentice, Alan Johnson, Buffa, Ryan Phelps and Matt Sheppard.

Decker, but was never able to move back ahead. Decker earned his second
Fulton Speedway DIRT Big Block Modified feature race win of the season
with Fuller having to settle for second.

across the finish line. Brett Tonkin led the field early, before Yorker
took command of the field. Bates, the current point leader, made a late
race charge to finish second.

DIRT Pro Stock feature race of the season last Saturday. T.J.
Fitzgibbons, Jeremy Clark, Lee Burnett and Joe Stefanski completed the
top five feature finishers in the 23-car starting field. Fitzgibbons
made several runs on Pietrowicz, but was never able to sneak past.

third position.

the rain delayed 15-lap Pure Stock feature race from May 20. Phil
