DAY RAIN FORCES SHOW TO BE CALLED OFF AT FULTON SPEEDWAY
FULTON, NY...Late day rain forced race
competition to be called off at Fulton Speedway on Saturday night. The
rain continued until early evening which would leave the track beyond
repair for racing. The 2004 point season at Fulton Speedway for the
regular divisions will conclude Saturday, September 4. A big five
division show will be contested this Saturday at the Home of the Dynomax
Victoria 200.
The DIRT Big Block Modifieds will race
in a 35-lap main event. The DIRT 358 Modifieds will battle in a separate
25-lap feature. The DIRT Sportsman are scheduled for 20-laps as well as
the DIRT Pro Stocks. The Pure Stocks will stage a 15-lap main event,
while the Four Cylinder Enduro racers will participate in a 25-lap
affair. This Saturday will mark the end of the point season for the DIRT
Big Block Modifieds, DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks.
The 358 Modified point chase will
conclude on Saturday, October 2 with the running of the $20,000 plus to
win Dynomax Victoria 200 presented by OCNB. Points for the Four Cylinder
Enduro racers will carry on until the double point Four Cylinder Enduro
Victoria Championship race.
