FULLER RETURNS TO WINNERS CIRCLE ON PICK-N-PULL AUTO PARTS NIGHT

 

FULTON, NY...Tim Fuller won his fourth 35-lap DIRT Big Block Modified feature Saturday at Fulton Speedway on Pick-N-Pull Auto Parts Night. With the victory Fuller was able to add to his point lead in the regular season standings. The victory for the B&F General Machine DIRT Big Block Modified team was worth $2,000.
 

     Pete Taylor raced out to the early lead at the start of the Pick-N-Pull Auto Parts DIRT Big Block Modified feature from the pole starting position. John Barker took the top spot away from Taylor on lap two. With five laps complete Barker continued to lead and was being followed in the top five by Fuller, Ryan Phelps, Scott Prentice and Billy Decker.
 

     Barker would lead the field through lap-10. Fuller worked around Barker to take the top spot on lap-11. At the halfway mark Fuller was being followed in the top five by Decker, Ryan Phelps, Alan Johnson and Barker. Jeff Rudalavage, Matt Sheppard, Jimmy Phelps, Pat Ward and Scott Prentice raced in positions sixth through tenth respectively at the halfway mark.
 

     It turned out to be a three car battle for the feature win between Fuller, Decker and Johnson. Fuller never gave up command of the race and recorded the feature win. Johnson moved up to second with Decker, Ryan Phelps and Sheppard completing the top five finishers in the competitive field.
 

     Greg Doust won his second 20-lap DIRT Sportsman feature race Saturday night. Eric Richardson, Sam Reakes IV, Mike Bowman and Tom Juhl finished in positions second through fifth respectively. Doust took the lead away from Richardson on lap four and never gave it back.

    

T.J. Fitzgibbons earned his first 20-lap Pro Stock feature race win Saturday night. Lee Burnett, Jason Rood, Bob Buono and John Pietrowicz followed Fitzgibbons in the highly competitive event. Fitzgibbons took the lead away from Scott Beeles on lap-three and he would lead the rest of the distance for the victory.
 

     Chad Crouse won his first ever Pure Stock main event Saturday night. Gary Donahue, Russ Marsden, Ricky DeGroff and Joe Buske followed Crouse across the finish line. Crouse led the entire 15-lap distance to record the popular victory.
 

     Rick Wilson won his third straight Super Sprint feature at Fulton Speedway recorded during the last three seasons. George Suprick, Rich Swarthout, George Ely and Bill Coffey finished in positions second through fifth in the 20-lap Patriot Sprint Group event. Suprick made several runs on Wilson, but the lead never changed hands.
 

     Professional DIRT Motorsports competition will resume this Saturday at Fulton Speedway. In race action will be the DIRT Big Block Modifieds, DIRT Sportsman, DIRT Pro Stocks, Pure Stocks and the Four Cylinder Enduro racers. Also slated is a "Second Across Finish Line Wins" event.
