SIX BIG WINNERS AT FULTON SPEEDWAY IN ACTION PACKED SHOW
FULTON, NY...Bob Henry Jr., Jeremy Clark, Phil
Marsden, John Behron, Lorrie Herbert and Darryl Carl were the main event
winners recently at Fulton Speedway. The 2003 season at Fulton Speedway
will conclude with the 18th Annual Victoria 200 Weekend on October 3-4.
Bob Henry Jr. recorded an impressive victory in
the 20-lap DIRT Sportsman feature race last Saturday. With the victory
Henry is now a guaranteed starter for the 2004 Motorsports Expo Victoria
Championship race this Friday, October 3. Paul Carey, Ryan Richardson,
Jame Christian, Greg Doust, Jeremy Pitcher, Jim Livingston, Walt McArdell,
Shawn Donath and Matt Janczek completed the top ten feature finishers.
Fulton Speedway 2003 DIRT Pro Stock Track
Champion Jeremy Clark recorded another feature win last Saturday night.
Clark was able to hold off the late race charge of Jason Rood who settled
for second. Third place finisher Dave Bruno earned the guaranteed starting
position for the Leaf Racewear Victoria Championship this Friday, October
3. John Pietrwowicz, Lee Burnett, Fred Dennis, Scott Beeles, Paul
Stoneburg, Mark Effner and Brian Belden rounded out the top ten finishers.
Phil Marsden, the 2003 Fulton Speedway Pure Stock
Track Champion, won another main event last Saturday. Second place
finisher Dave Mannise earned the guaranteed starting position for the Top
Stitch Custom Embroidery Victoria Championship event this Friday, Octonber
3. Todd Storace, Russ Marsden, Sean O'Connor, Dave Marcuccilli, Darren
Kelso, Don Stevenson, Joe Buske and Rob Whipple finished in positions
third through tenth respectively.
John Behron passed Bob Garafolo on the final
circuit to earn the victory in the 36-lap Doug Cooper Memorial Victoria
Dwarf Car Championship race. Tim Burdick, Jeff Barker, Steve Miller, Kreig
Heroth, Darren Forbes, Mike Isabell, Wayne Younglove and Dan Williams
completed the top ten feature finishers.
Lorrie Herbert scored a popular victory in the
Four Cylinder Stock Victoria Championship race. Russ Wassner, Jeff Leslie,
Chuck Powelczyk, Walt VanEpps, Aaron Backus, Chris Kranz, Colton Chappius,
Jerry Curcie and Erie Meier finished in positions second through fifth
respectively.
Darryl Carl turned in a dominating performance to
win the 50-lap Four Cylinder Enduro Victoria Championship event to earn
the $400 top prize. Dan Hoffman Jr., Troy Engerbretsen, Ron Hunt and Karl
Werner completed the top five finishers.
The 2003 season at Fulton Speedway will conclude
October 3-4 with the 18th Annual Victoria 200 Weekend. Race competition
will start Friday at 7 p.m. Heat races Saturday afternoon will begin at
2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 5 is the Victoria 200 Weekend raindate. For a
