PIETROWICZ WINS FINAL RACE AT BEFORE VICTORIA 200 WEEKEND
FULTON, NY…John Pietrowicz won the 15-lap Pure Stock feature at Fulton Speedway last Saturday night during the action packed thrill show. The 2001 season at Fulton Speedway will conclude in grand style with Victoria 200 Weekend, which is set for September 28-30. The $20,000 to win Dynomax Victoria 200 will highlight the weekend on September 29.
Nathan Peckham, Darren Kelso, Mike Watkins and Bob Wojcikowski completed the top five feature finishers behind Pietrowicz in the Pure Stock feature. Dan Hoffman Sr. was the winner of the final Four Cylinder Enduro feature of the season. Steve Woodworth, Jim Wallace, Doug Koch and Adam Williamson followed Hoffman. Ben Haust earned $500 for his win in the Demolition Derby.
Victoria 200 Weekend at Fulton Speedway will start on Friday, September 28 with the Car Quest Motorsports Expo Dig Safely New York Sportsman championship. The Pro Stocks and Pure Stocks will also compete in title races of their own. Several hot lap sessions will also be offered throughout the evening for the 358 Modifieds. Race time is set for 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 29 is the complete show for the 358 Modifieds. Numerous heat and consolation races will be conducted to determine the starting field for the Dynomax Victoria 200. To date, over 100 drivers have registered to attempt to qualify for the high paying, one-day event. Heats races will start at 2:30 p.m.
The 358 Modified non-qualifiers will battle in a complete race program on Sunday, September 30. A National Series Race for the IMCA Modifieds and a title race for the Four Cylinder Stocks will complete the afternoon. The Four Cylinder Enduro race has been cancelled due to schedule problems. Race time is set for 2 p.m.
