FULTON, NY…The 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” Weekend presented by SUNY Canton is set for this weekend. The 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” presented by SUNY Canton will end the season at Fulton Speedway on Saturday, October 2. The $20,000 plus to win classic offers the highest total purse in one day Modified racing in the northeast and will attract the top drivers from the northeast as well as Canada.
The 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” Weekend will start off on Friday, October 1. Three championship events will be contested, plus Modified Hot Laps and Modified Quick Time Sessions. The fastest two in the Quick Time Sessions will be guaranteed starters for the 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” the following day. The Quick Time sessions will be an elimination type format. Modified Hot laps will also be offered at the conclusion of the main events, time permitting.
Championship races on Friday, October 1 will include the SUNY Canton Super DIRTcar Sportsman Series event presented by 2011 Motorsports Expo, the NAPA Late Model Championship race and the Top Stitch Custom Embroidery IMCA Modified Empire State Series show. Race time on Friday, October 1 is set for 7 p.m. Pit gates will open at 3 p.m. with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Hot laps will begin at 6 p.m.
Saturday, October 2 will be all Modifieds leading up to the 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” presented by SUNY Canton. Pit gates will open at 11 a.m. with grandstand gates opening at 12 noon. The Modified drivers meeting which will be held in the grandstands will be conducted at 1:45 p.m. The Modified drivers draw, also in front of the grandstands will take place at 2 p.m.
Hot laps will start at 3 p.m. with the first qualifying heat race to begin at 4:30 p.m. Consolation races will then follow with the 25th Annual “Outlaw 200” presented by SUNY Canton to start at approximately 7:30 p.m. Sunday, October 3 is the weekend rain date if needed.
