Ron Davis III Motor Legal After Inspection; August 11 SUNY Canton Sportsman Win Stands

FULTON, NY – August 14,2012 (By Dave Medler) - After his SUNY Canton Sportsman feature win on August 11, 2012, Ron Davis III’s GM 602 Crate engine was removed from his car and taken to the LJL/Kevlar engine shop for closer inspection to ensure it was legal by Fulton Speedway’s engine rules. The rules allows for no internal modifications of any kind within a sealed bolt package in key locations on an engine.

Upon visual inspection, and testing on the LJL/Kevlar engine dyno, Davis's engine has been deemed legal by GM 602 Crate Engine specs and returned to the race team.
