BREWERTON, NY - July 9, 2012 (By Dave Medler) - With the first week of July in the record books for the 2012 season, Ryan Bartlett and Tom Juhl are this week's "NAAPA Know How" performers of the week at the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways.
At the Brewerton Speedway, Ryan Bartlett driving the family backed No.93, ran up front during the feature with the big dogs. Despite dropping back in the order during the feature and driving with a broken header, he was in contention all night, coming home in fourth at the checkers in the 35 lap Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modified Feature.
At the Fulton Speedway in the weekly 20 lap SUNY Canton Sportsman feature, every position gained is tough with the quality of the field. This past Saturday night, Tom Juhl started 14th and worked his way forward getting into the top-five by the halfway point. Once in the top-five, Juhl battled for the win, coming home in third, just 0.657 of a second behind race winner Jordan Bennett.
For their performances, Ryan Bartlett and Tom Juhl, will receive $100 “NAPA Know How Performer of The Week” that is awarded weekly at both Brewerton and Fulton Speedways to one driver that outperforms all others that week across all classes.
The new NAPA Brewerton and Fulton Speedway Racer Discount Card are again in place. Each active speedway competitor will receive a NAPA card that will provide discounted pricing on most racing related purchases throughout the 2012 race season. Drivers will need to sign up with Speedway officials to be eligible for the program.
