Hurricane 100 And Outlaw 200 guaranteed Starting Spots Up For Grabs June7 At New Egypt Speedway; Outlaw 200 Spot To Be Given Away Tuesday June 12 At Penn-Can Speedway

BREWERTON, NY, June 5, 2012 (By Dave Medler) - The excitement is starting to build for the Brewerton Speedway, SUNY Canton Hurricane 100  presented by Ferris Mowers and the Fulton Speedway, Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Fulton Facility Outlaw 200 presented by SUNY Canton as the qualifying season for both events starts to heat-up.

These are not spots for special races at the event; these are full blown guaranteed starting spots for both races.

This coming Thursday night at the New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey on USAC Night, the Modifieds will be running for a spot at each race. The winner of the event will get to choose what spot they want, with second place getting the other spot.

Then Tuesday night June 12, there is the big “Clash At The Can” $10,000 to win RoC race at Penn-Can Speedway. That race will carry an Outlaw 200 spot.

On Friday and Saturday September 28-29 Fulton Speedway hosts one of the most prestigious races on the modified calendar as the Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend presented by SUNY Canton takes place. Friday night will see a full night of racing as the SUNY Canton Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, IMCA Modifieds NYS Series, Doug Cooper Memorial Mod Lites and Modified Hot Laps & Quick Time Sessions will hit the Fulton “High Banks”.

On Saturday, it’s all modifieds all the time, as the best of the best Modified drivers in the Northeast vie for a starting spot in the $20,000 to win Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 presented by SUNY Canton. The competition for this race is so tough in its history Brett Hearn won his very first one in 2010.

Just five days later, Thursday, October 4 at Brewerton Speedway is what the fans are calling “The Race Of The Week” as the $10,000 to win SUNY Canton Hurricane 100 presented by Ferris Mowers takes place. Can the home track regulars hold off the invaders for the top-prize? In 2011 Brewerton Speedways own Ryan Phelps took the big win.
