Fulton Speedway Back In Action on Saturday, August 28th

FULTON, NY - Only two point events remain on the regular season schedule at Fulton Speedway with the next show set for this Saturday, August 27. In action this Saturday on Syracuse.com / Carson’s Car Mart of Oswego Night will be the DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman, NAPA Late Models, E&V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Gladiators. Everyone ages 18 and under will be admitted for free.

Jimmy Phelps owns a slim 20 point lead over Matt Sheppard in the DIRTcar Big Block Modified point standings at Fulton Speedway. Both drivers have won three main events so far this season. Phelps is a former Big Block Modified Track Champion at Fulton Speedway, while Sheppard has claimed a 358 Modified Track Championship. Pat Ward, Billy Decker, Ryan Phelps, Dale Planck, Tom Sears, Michael Storms, Alan Johnson and Jim Witko complete the top 10 in the standings.

Jeremy Pitcher is the current leader in the SUNY Canton DIRTcar Sportsman standings, but defending Track Champion Tim Sears Jr. is still in striking distance. Tim Devendorf appears headed to be the first ever NAPA Late Model Track Champion at Fulton Speedway. Matt Emmons owns a 12 point lead over Scott Kline in the E&V Energy Novice Sportsman ranks. Keith Zirbel is the current leader in the Gladiator ranks.

Fulton Speedway gates on Saturday, August 28 will open at 5 p.m. Race competition on Syracuse.com / Carson’s Car Mart of Oswego Night will start at 7 p.m. For more information please go on line to www.fultonspeedway.com. The track office number is 315-593-6531 with the race line reached at 668-RACE. The track is located at 1603 County Route 57 in Fulton.
