BREWERTON, NY March 19, 2011(By Dave Medler) – As the days get longer and the snow has melted all attention turns to the 2011 racing season. What a better way to start the season with all your friends, drivers and crews at the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways Blast Off Party Friday, April 1st at Thunder Island at the Oasis in Fulton, NY. Time and tickets are going fast for this fun event.
Doors will open at 6:00pm for cocktails with dinner at 7:00pm with awards at 8:00pm. DJ Rick Uhl will be entertaining the crowd all evening long spinning tunes and taking requests. Thunder Island is located right off route 48 at 21 Wilcox Road in Fulton, NY.
With all the major exciting changes for the tracks that has happened lately it will also be a chance to to ask questions and get answers before Brewerton Speedway opens their doors on Friday night April, 15th and Fulton Speedway on Saturday night May 7th.
You can make a fun day of it by heading just down the road at the Great Northern Mall on route 31 for the Speedways exciting revival of their annual car show before heading to the Blast Off Party. The car show will run from Friday April 1st through Sunday April, 3rd during mall hours.
