BREWERTON, NY December 19, 2010 (By Dave Medler) - While people are out shopping and enjoying the holidays the staff of the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways are busy at work pushing forward for the 2011 season.
At Brewerton Speedway talks are ongoing with sponsors to make the 2011 point fund the best ever at the track. So look for announcements on that front in the very near future.
At the Fulton Speedway phone calls and emails keep coming in about the new CT GM 525 Crate Small Block that will run in the 2011 season as interest keeps gaining momentum.
At the PRI show last week in Orlando John Wight and Harvey Fink had extensive talks with the heads of that division of General Motors. At this time they are finalizing details to bring the best reliable package to the racers right out of the box. There will be an informational meeting in mid-January. Date will be announced shortly.
Knowing that race teams and fans like to make plans early look for the first schedule for the Brewerton and Fulton Speedways to be released in mid-January.
